"Meet Karl and Katie Killdeer"
A very special bird family that sometimes chooses
to live in the city among people. They lay their eggs
in any convenient (to them) patch of small rocks or
gravel. Perhaps they are best noted as being actors!
When someone ventures to close to their nest they
will fake a broken wing to attract the "danger"
toward them and away from their nest.
This is one such family.
